1. Hold down the power button approximately 20-30 seconds.

Note: The power button is the red button below the keypad.

2. When the MC1000/Motorola screen is displayed, continue holding the power button.

3. When the MC1000/Motorola screen is displayed a second time, release the power button.The Booting

screen is displayed.

4. The reset is complete when the AscendScan Main Menu is redisplayed.

5. Increase the program memory, see Adjust the program memory. (see page 6)
