Vehicle Cradle

Troubleshooting the Vehicle Cradle
Symptom Possible Cause Action
MC9500-K battery
charging LED does
not light up.
Cradle is not
receiving power.
Ensure the power input cable is securely connected to the cradle’s
power port.
MC9500-K battery is
not recharging.
MC9500-K was
removed from the
cradle too soon.
Replace the MC9500-K in the cradle. The 4800 mAh battery fully
charges in less than six hours.
Battery is faulty. Replace the battery.
No power to
charger.
Ensure that power is applied to the charger. The Battery Status
LED flashes amber to indicate that the battery is charging.
MC9500-K is not
placed correctly in
the cradle.
Remove the MC9500-K from the cradle, and re-insert correctly. If
the battery still does not charge, contact customer support.
The MC9500-K battery charging LED slowly blinks amber when
the MC9500-K is correctly inserted and charging.
Ambient
temperature of the
cradle is too warm.
Move to an area where the ambient temperature is between 0
o
C
and 35
o
C.
Vehicle Cradle is
not functioning
properly.
Replace the Vehicle Cradle.
