Some features require you to enter names, numbers,

and other text, such as when you add a contact to your

Contact List

or when you write and send a message.

makes text entry

quick and easy:

To enter French accented characters, press

to display symbols, then select the accented

characters you want.

While you enter text, an indicator at the top right of the

screen shows the current entry mode.

See the next section for instructions on selecting an

entry mode.
