To mount the housing to the strand wire:

1 Attach the bracket to the housing using the two 5/16 × 18 bolts.

2 Loosen the 3/8 × 16 strand clamp bolt located on each mounting bracket.

3 Engage the strand clamp in the housing strand clamps. Do not tighten the hex-head bolts at

this time.

This enables the clamps to slide along the strand wire until the housing is finally positioned

with respect to the cables.

4 Re-install all modules and electronic components if they were removed before the housing

was installed.

Connections to the housing are made using standard KS-type housing port entry connectors.

Pin-type connectors with a nominal center conductor diameter of 0.067 inches are required.

Measuring from the seating plane of the connector, the center conductor pin length must be

1.50 inches minimum and 1.65 inches maximum.
