8.4 Clear Local Memory CLM

Format:

This command only clears the local memory held within Xplor8. It does not affect the CPU or its

memory at all.

8.5 Clear Output Window CLS

Format:

CLS

This command only clears the output window. It does not affect the CPU or its memory at all.

8.6 Connect / Disconnect

Format

CONNECT | DISCONNECT

Command to open or close the RS232 serial COM port.

When disconnected, commands may still be given to Xplor8, but these will fail unless they affect only

local memory.

The 'Connect' speedbutton may be used as a quick way of issuing this command - see Speedbuttons

on page 19.
